[Atlas] [OOC] IC/OOC Permissions Post (+Stats)
CHARACTER NAME: Miles Naismith Vorkosigan
CHARACTER SERIES: Vorkosigan Saga
STATS/DESCRIPTION
Name: Miles Vorkosigan / Admiral Naismith (either way, "Miles" is fine)
PB: Burn Gorman. Facetwin antics (should they arise) are welcome and encouraged.
Height: 4'9" / 145 cm
Build: Slim and a bit crooked. Surgery has fixed most of his back issues but not all of them. His bones are made from synthetic material comparable in strength to regular human bone.
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Gray
Age: 28, but hellishly lined by now. He's had a rough life.
Other: Miles is covered in a plethora of surgery scars from head to toe, the biggest of which being a web of scars along his neck and lower (though the suit hides most of them).
Also, despite what he says, Miles is NOT a clone. Anyone who has the scientific knowhow to detect that is free to call him on that particular bluff. In general, assume that Miles is a reasonably smooth liar (though anyone is welcome to see through him whenever they like).

Fourthwalling: If your character would know, but I sincerely doubt Miles' canon is well known enough for this. Keep info vague and don't spoil future books!
Offensive subjects (elaborate): None that don't fall under "don't be a dick."

Fighting with this character: ALSO FANTASTIC. Just note that Miles has bodyguards and word tends to get around.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Completely fine. Please talk to me first if we're getting anywhere above, say, a broken bone. Generally, though, I love getting this idiot into trouble.
Killing this character: Nnnnot in Atlas unless I'm planning on dropping.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Absolutely fine. Just note that Miles is noisy and canonically good at frustrating truth serums, etc.
Warnings: VKS is a pretty dark canon overall. I'll happily shy away from any topics that you don't want to get into, but common themes of the series include: infanticide, ableism, suicide, sexism (referenced as a negative), rape/sexual assault, etc.
