[ So about that being dense thing ... She sips her wine as she watches him puzzle it out. ]

[ He just sighs a bit, his mind still looping around the obvious solution. It can't be Gregor. ]

[ She'd been keeping their link mostly closed ever since she had felt Miles' coupling with Jim, not wanting to intrude on their privacy even with how damn loud Miles was broadcasting it, and she doesn't re-open it now. But she can feel his mind skipping over something, like a broken record circling over and over some point it can't get past. She takes some pity (or is it sadistic glee?) in changing the subject on him. ]

But back to Jim for the moment, was there anything you didn't like? Knowing that as well as what you do like is important to know.
