[OOC] URBAN FANTASY AU
Look, sometimes you've gotta be massively self indulgent. So for Court here's an urban fantasy AU of Miles Vorkosigan. A few basic stats and pings:
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Gray
Age: 21
Height: 4'8" (this is actually from canon, he is bitty)
Weight: Light as hell due to literal glass bones
Supernatural Pings: Miles is a completely normal human being ... with a few twists. Anyone who can sense magical and/or supernatural stuff will get the following pings:
+ Miles has a very strong magical power running through his blood. Luck manipulation specifically; he can bend probability to his will and tends to have unnatural streaks of ambient luck, both good and bad. Overuse causes seizures.
+ Said ability is hereditary due to his father's bloodline. All Vor families have some kind of power associated with them. Due to the Vorkosigans having nearly died out, Miles' own ability is extremely rare.
+ Miles is ALSO cursed to have literal glass bones. Long story short, his parents were hit with a powerful spell in an attempt to assassinate them. Fae magic was able to heal them, but at the cost of a curse laid on Miles himself that wasn't discovered until after he was born. He's searching for a cure to that now.
+ Other stuff as it comes up???
