So it's a sigil that basically lets him monitor you. He'll remove it if you speak up for him, plead his case, and RISE lets him go. I'm trying to figure out what else he'll take in exchange for taking it off you. If nothing else I'm pretty sure if we deface the symbol it'll remove the magic but let's keep that as a last resort since it'd mean surgery probably.

Every time, no matter how he reasoned through it, he couldn't see a scenario where Miles came away unharmed had Kirk not done what he did. He was convinced he was in the right. Making sure everyone came away from the mission in as good a condition as possible while still accomplishing the objective was the best they could hope for.

Doesn't feel particularly happy now as his eyelids flutter back open again, a massive stunner hangover making even his blurry, limited vision dance dangerously.
